Your blog post was very interesting and thanks for sharing. It sounds like you both made a lot of progress at your lesson with Linda and hope to read more about this in the future.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17269790994920824594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5271024046569833078.post-20550340655734070832010-08-30T15:11:29.793-07:002010-08-30T15:11:29.793-07:00Thank you Fran for taking the time to share the &q...Thank you Fran for taking the time to share the "rest of the story!".
Keep up the good play!

Petra Christensen
Parelli 1Star Junior Instructor
Parelli CentralParelli Centralhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15687538542012342351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5271024046569833078.post-4136297615962734352010-08-26T19:21:24.895-07:002010-08-26T19:21:24.895-07:00Fran,
I found your blog through Linda's and I ...Fran,
I found your blog through Linda's and I have to say...I am so moved by your story and your journey.
I too, have a rescue, though not quite as extreme, he is not your "normal" horse. I truly believe these animals come into our lives for a reason and that there is a divine plan for us to have them. As you look back on your journey and the road ahead, I am sure that you see the growth, learning and connection you are having to Crest and the world around you.
These horses are special and divinely put in the path of special people. I haven't read the negative comment that everybody is talking about but if it had Linda upset, I'm not sure I want to read it. Neither Pat nor Linda would ever do anything to intentionally injure a horse, physically, emotionally or mentally. Sometimes, it seems that someone looking from the outside in, gets the wrong perspective and then instead of finding out for oneself what the truth is, they try to project their negative thoughts onto others. I know, because I had done the same thing years ago when I saw Pat teaching an extreme RB horse the YoYo game (but that's a another story). Suffice it to say, that a lady took me "under her wing" and showed me the REAL Parelli, NOT what I had been thinking all along. I will be forever grateful to her. I've been a savvy member since Sept. 2005 and not regretted one second. Thanks again. :-) Be Safe, Be Smart, Be Savvy.
